    For Christian schools and educators to be truly successful, plans must be made for all aspects of the integration of learning, faith, and practice. The Bible Message: the Source of Christian Belief An analysis of how to apply instructional principles to Christian education is limited until essential beliefs are identified.   I recently had the opportunity to speak at a Baylor conference on Christian higher education. I used the story of Ben Franklin and George Whitefield’s debate about the purposes of Franklin’s “Academy of Philadelphia” (see my post on this topic here) as an illustration to make several observations about challenges for Christian colleges and faculty today. The Church of England Year Book has a list of grant-making bodies (under Organisations), not all of which will contribute to education purposes but instead give grants through diocesan bishops for other needs. Grant-making bodies listed in the CoE Year Book include: Bristol Clerical Education Society; Church of England Clergy Stipend Trust. Differentiation and Diversification in Higher Education / D.
